Hey! If you’re reading this, I want to congratulate you because you are one of a unique breed. As a writer and web designer, I know how few people take the time to actually read the content on a website and I want to personally thank you for taking the time to read about me.

My name is Ryan Stemkoski and I serve in a number of roles, most importantly as a husband, dad, and entrepreneur. I created stemkoski.com as a vehicle to share and catalog information that is important to me or that I find useful, primarily so I could find it again later. I chose to share it in a public fashion to benefit other like-minded individuals.

Family Life:

In 2009, I was lucky enough to marry a beautiful girl from Ritzville, Washington named Kayla. At the time, Kayla was working as an elementary teacher. In January 2014, our son Colton was born. He is filled with energy and keeps us both very busy, especially Kayla, who is currently working as a stay at home mom and has all sorts of crafty hobbies.

My Faith:

We love Jesus. Kayla and I are both involved at a local church called The Heights Church, in Airway Heights, WA. The Heights is a community focused church plant that we helped launch in 2013 and we continue to help lead along with Jacob & Kym Powers, the pastors of the church.

My Background:

I grew up in Chehalis, Washington: a small town just south of Olympia, WA. As a child, I was always interested in business and tinkered with a variety of enterprises. While growing up, I did everything from delivering the newspaper to selling car audio products out of my parents garage. Luckily for them, I eventually moved to Cheney, Washington to attend Eastern Washington University. I graduated from EWU with degrees in Finance and Economics as well as a Masters in Business Administration. During my tenure at Eastern, I became fascinated with digital marketing and web design and started my own web design company from my dorm room. I was able to land a few clients and eventually it led to a full-time job in the industry. Then in 2005, I connected with my current business partner, Shawn Davis, and we founded Zipline Interactive. Today, Zipline has grown to become one of the Pacific Northwest’s most innovative digital marketing agencies.

Hobbies:

When I’m not going full force at work, I’m spending quality time with my family. I also enjoy reading, playing sports, taking some landscape photos, or hanging out with my friends at the gym.

Where I am Headed:

I have developed a number of skills in the digital marketing arena. I am currently seeking and working on a variety of opportunities where I can use those skills to help promote businesses entities for which I have an ownership stake.
